Summary:	El mosaico artístico o mosaico en cristal, clasificado así por su cualidad artesanal de la cultura puertorriqueña de San Juan, Puerto Rico plasmó sus actitudes y gustos ostentosos durante las décadas de 1920 al 1940. El propósito principal del presente estudio fue analizar los valores culturales de un sector social de la cultura puertorriqueña haciendo uso de la imagen del mosaico en cristal encontrado en las fachadas de residencias privadas ubicadas en los sectores y barrios capitalinos. Está investigación utiliza como referencia o marco teórico la corriente historiográfica conocida como, Historia Cultural del historiador británico, Peter Burke y el crítico de arte alemán, Erwin Panofsky.  Read more...
